ConstructSoft is designed to give small sized businesses the ability to use a construction accounting software to manage their jobs/projects that would normally be unaffordable to such business. Thus it is recommended to be used by smaller businesses in the Construction/Building industry.

As ConstructSoft is a cloud based software you cannot customise the software for your particular business. However if you would add new features that you think are missing lets us know and we will investigate. We are always pleased to receive suggestions.
ConstructSoft costs $100 per month + GST. We do not charge per user.
The idea of this is that you can set up a try our software before you pay a monthly subscription. If you have any questions just reach out and we are happy to reply.
User pay via PayPal due to the ease of use and security features of PayPal.
Unlike other similar software there is no contract period. You just pay month by month via PayPal. There is no fixed contract period to use ConstructSoft so if you decide to stop using the software you just stop paying the monthly fee.
Users can pause subscription of the software at any time. However if they decide to start using the software again in the future they will have to pay the previous missing months subscriptions to catch up. No data is ever deleted.
The software will automatically ask you to pay the monthly subscription via PayPal when it falls due. If no payment is made then access to the software is stopped. At no time will ConstructSoft delete data so if as an example, in three months time you wish to start using the software again you can (but you will have to pay the previous months missing subscription amounts).
You cancel your subscription at any time. Our subscription model is only from month to month.
Xero is powerful online accounting software. ConstructSoft focuses on job costing and project management in a construction environment. ConstructSoft together with Xero accounting creates a very powerful system. We recommend performing all business operations involving construction in ConstructSoft and all other accounting processes in Xero only.
The process of connecting ConstructSoft and Xero is quite simple and once established transfers data from ConstructSoft to Xero automatically. Our User manual explains how to connect to Xero. Once the connection is established between ConstructSoft and Xero there is no need to continually repeat this process.
ConstructSoft transfers all Customers, Suppliers, Resources, Sales Invoices, Purchase Invoices, Sales Credit Notes, Purchase Credit Notes, Customer receipts, supplier payments and bank transfers.
Data is transferred automatically from ConstructSoft to Xero when the entry is initially entered into ConstructSoft. If at a later time you edit a transaction in ConstructSoft then you will have to manually edit the transaction in Xero as Xero will not realise the transaction has been changed in ConstructSoft.

Sales Claim Invoices. These are invoices that allow you to Progress Claim your Construction Sales Invoices. They also allow you to record retention on your Sales Invoices and track it.

Sales Sundry Invoices. These are invoices that are not Progress Claim invoices but allow you to invoice resources such as additional labour costs, materials, items, admin, etc.

Sales Variations can be created and sent to a customer. Once approved they are processed into a Sales Sundry Invoice.

Purchase Orders. Purchase orders can be created and once approved they are converted into Purchase Claim Invoices.

Purchase Claim Invoices. These are invoices that allow you to Progress Claim your Construction Purchase Invoices. They also allow you to record retention on your Purchase Invoices and track it.

Purchase Sundry Invoices. These are invoices that are not Progress Claim invoices but allow you to record purchase invoices for resources such as additional labour costs, materials, items, admin, etc.

Sales Variations can be created and sent to a customer. Once approved they are processed into a Sales Sundry Invoice.

 

A Project is created for each individual Construction project. ConstructSoft allows you to manage the costs of these projects with numerous Desktop Graphs, a plethora of reports and tools.

Job Budget – Allows you to enter budgets at a Job Level.

Job Forecast – Allows you to enter a forecast for each job cost and compare it with the original budgeted number.

Job Cash Flow – Allows you to enter expected monthly expenditure per project per job cost so that you can calculate the outflow of money for each project each month.

Job Income – Allows you to enter the expected income to be received ata Job

Constructsoft can help you in setting up the software. This is done remotely and there is no need for us to visit your office. It usually takes about 1 days to set up the software to your needs. Our consultancy rates are $500 per day plus GST. All implementation costs will be agreed beforehand so you will know exactly the cost involved.
